"It was hot and humid when my family and I ventured to the banks of the James River in Virginia’s Powhatan State Park. All of this was once Powhatan’s domain. The thick, sprawling foliage, with its big leaves and twisting vines, reminded me of a jungle. While on one of the park’s river trails, I filmed the following mini-lecture."
