Answers to common questions for The Nomadic Professor
To add your students to your group, please follow the instructions below.
Navigate to your group management settings from your dashboard; you can also click directly here. Then follow the directions in the screenshots below.

The best place to learn about grading is in the Getting Started Guide for the course you’re taking. Each Getting Started Guide provides its own instructions for grading the work in that course.
US 3&4 (coming soon!)
Briefly, the “Gradebook at a glance” view in the Instructor dashboard provides a good overview of the current grades and progress for all students in your group.
The advanced gradebook accessed via your group management dashboard is the way to grade assignments, view detailed quiz results, and monitor course progress.

This most commonly happens due to your browser’s cache settings. A quick reset of your cache will resolve this most of the time.
We recommend using Chrome as we have noticed compatibly issues with some other browsers.
Here are step-by-step instruction on how to reset your cache in Chrome.
Click the 3 vertical buttons in the top-left of your Chrome browser and go into Settings:




US History 3 will be fully published by December 2023/January 2024.
Upon completion of US History 3, we will start releasing units of US History 4, with a tentative completion date of Summer/Fall 2024.
We generally aim to release one Unit per 4-6 week period.

Each course has a Getting Started Guide which looks different for students and instructors. The instructor Getting Started Guide includes the course answer keys:

Additionally, each Session also includes a separate link to its specific answer key. Just look for the “For Instructors” box below the Session banner:

This may be caused by navigating straight to the next Session rather than going through the Session and completing each of its individual Topics. Be sure to read each Topic, submit a document in the assignments upload box, and complete the quiz for the Session you’re working on. Each of these steps is required for the Session and Topics to be marked as complete.
